Taman Sri Serdang is an old and matured leasehold housing development located in the heart of Seri Kembangan in the state of Selangor. It is considered to be located on the outskirts of the city, as the Kuala Lumpur city centre is approximately half an hour away by car, as are the other places of importance such as Bangsar, Mont Kiara, TTDI and Petaling Jaya.

The various divisions of the housing area is connected by large trunk roads such as Jalan Sri Serdang Utara and Jalan Sri Serdang, while the closest train station is the Bandar Tasik Selatan KTM station which the train connects to Kuala Lumpur.

Taman Sri Serdang is a well located area, with most of the tenants having lived there for many comfortable years, as those who do not like travelling and work within the area need never travel out of their comfort zone if need be. However, traffic on the main roads may sometimes be a nightmare especially during peak periods where throngs of people who live on the outskirts make their way to and fro the city for work.
As one of the older neighbourhoods, Taman Sri Serdang has its own close community of residents who know each other, especially as most of them are of the Malay nationality and are rather friendly with their neighbours. Residents also feel safe here, as the crime rate is low as the local law enforcement resides within the neighbourhood itself.
Taman Sri Serdang shows potential as an investment as more and more citizens make their way to the outskirts of the city in search of an affordable home. As a permanent home it also shows much promise if the parents work within the surrounding area, as all the necessities are within easy distance, which makes for a comfortable living.
